Meticulous attention to detail makes this the ultimate UK hard riding mile eaters bike. Comfortable and very responsive especially on climbs.

Reynolds 853 Conical tubing, low-temperature fillet brazed & beautifully filed. Sealed frame tubes to prevent internal rust. Reynolds 531 fork, threadless 1 1/8" steerer. The compact style frame saves a little weight and produces a slightly stiffer frame with increased standover clearance.

We have also taken the opportunity to slightly modify the front geometry in favour of a sportier ride... the Audax 853 is still very stable, it still has clearance between shoes and mudguard but now it steers more quickly (compared to the original, ultra-stable "Audax Classic").
