I just wanted to recommend some "longs" now that the temperature seems to be dropping.  I have finally found some comfortable, warm, excellent fitting longs. They are Gore Proteam Action III Bib Tights. They're certainly not cheap (£100 ish), but compared to previous purchases they rock.

I first used Ronhill tights of some description, and found these were rather loose fitting and not at all warm.  I then tried Specialized leg warmers - rather like thick stockings.  These didn't fit my legs in the slightest - I'd put them on, and within seconds they'd be flapping round my ankles again, making me look like an extra from Fame.  Grin

So, there you go.  If you're struggling to find effective leg warming gear, I can highly recommend bib tights, and especially Gore ones.

DHB Bib Tights (Merston) are £35 from Wiggle and get superb reviews.

I just tried my first pair and they seem great.

I second the use of Bib Tights in Winter (3/4 bibs in spring/autum and bib shorts in summer).

I have DHB examples of all of these and they are tremendous value
