Ok, just done my first ride on it. Since no one commented, I took the plunge and ordered one. It feels like it does what it's supposed to do, but will not know for sure until I try it out for a longer distance. It's not soft, but seems to have good lift. For the money I can't complain.
Was worried the saddle would look ugly compared to the beautiful blue raven frame, but it actually blends in pretty well. So, my reasons for trying this saddle on a touring bike: positive reviews; inconspicuous compared to the original Rido; no dye; cheap; no breaking in and no proofide; will withstand rain; it looks comfortable
