Hi

I have a black Thorn Sterling.

Today I noticed some scuffing of the "Sterling" lettering on frame, with some black paint scuffed off down to pale layer underneath (?primer/undercoat).

What is the risk of rusting with this ?

I have the little bottle of touch up paint so will use this to paint over them.
