Hi All,

Grace Johnson has just released the third issue of Bicycle Traveler Magazine. She and her photographer husband/touring partner, Paul Jeurissen, have been traveling the globe for some time now, and are well known in The Netherlands for their photo-essays: http://www.bicyclingaroundtheworld.nl/home.html Grace is now often recognized as "The Woman in Red" for her distinctive red jersey, often appearing in Paul's distance shots: www.adventurecycling.org/resources/200909_WomanInRed_Jeurisse.pdf

The  third issue of her magazine is available here in PDF form:
http://bicycletraveler.bicyclingaroundtheworld.nl/current-issue

Subscriptions are free for registering, and it is scheduled for thrice-yearly publication/download.  I think she's done a fantastic job, and I am inspired by her efforts to solicit articles and coordinate and publish while on the road herself. I have posted about this in the past and though members might find this newest issue equally enjoyable.

For those interested in a bit of background on Grace and Paul, here is their blog: http://www.bicyclingaroundtheworld.com
Facebook site: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Paul-Jeurissen-Bicycle-Photography/113356555398809

Another wonderful effort, as always. This issue includes a piece on riding in Crocs soft shoes by Igor Kovse, one of my heroes of ultralightweight touring. There's hitchhiking-biking through Africa. An article on lightweight touring. A photo-essay on touring America, and much, much more. Enough to keep the adventure juices flowing and whet the appetite as touring season approaches.

Best,

Dan.

Thanks for the link Dan.
A good read and plenty of links to further fodder to be consumed.
Cheers,
Iain.
