These frames are built in the, almost universal, direct lateral style and are suitable for all types of touring from fast day rides to lightweight camping.
Thorn Raven Discovery
These frames are built in the, seldom seen these days, double marathon style, which gives exceptional strength, for a small weight increase and does so whilst sacrificing very little comfort. We have made these frames longer, both front and rear than the Adventure frames. They are particularly suited to powerful crews and for heavy touring.
Thorn Raven Dynamic
These frames are direct lateral child back frames; that is to say that they are designed for very small stokers. The 2 sizes accommodate either a short or a tall pilot (Mum front and Dad front?) These machines encourage teamwork, child stokers soon start to contribute to forward motion, which never seems to happen, when they are passengers on a trailer-type bike. The machine is very roadworthy; whereas a hinged-in-the-middle, trailer-type bike becomes dangerous, if used in traffic and evasive action needs to be taken.
